Group Accommodation in York

Located at the confluence of the Ouse and Foss Rivers in North Yorkshire, England, the walled city of York is the traditional county town which gave Yorkshire its name. The city has a rich historic legacy and heritage, and offers many major attractions, including the York Minster and many other worthwhile destinations. For those wishing to get away for a group holiday, either as a long weekend or for a full week, there is a wide variety of cultural and historical activities available in this exciting city.

The centre of York is enclosed by the medieval walls of the city, the most complete of their kind in England, and which offer a popular and pleasant walk, and close by York Castle is a worthwhile visit.

For a really medieval experience, the narrow pedestrian routes within the city, known as the Snickelways, are an interesting and fun stroll. These used to head towards the former market places of the city and to St. Sampson’s Square. One of these streets, known as The Shambles, is today lined with boutiques, quaint shops and tea rooms offering a restful cup of tea along the way.

There are several lovely large holiday homes in York and its surroundings which can be seen on the House Parties website. Browse the group accommodation options above, or if you need any assistance, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
